Ignatius Otteh is a board certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Pontifical Urban University, Rome. He also has a bachelors degree in nursing from Winston Salem State University, Winston Salem, North Carolina and a Master’s degree in Nursing, as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from Frontier Nursing University, Hyden Kentucky. Ignatius enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Ignatius has over 15 years working experience with psychiatric patients with a wide range of mental illnesses including panic attacks, anxiety, depression, bipolar, mood disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, schizophrenia, alcohol and substance use disorders. In addition to his trainings and degrees, Ignatius is a certified correctional healthcare professional, and have experience managing patients in underserved populations. Ignatius is passionate, patient and listens to what patients have to say. He is kind, welcoming and unassuming. Ignatius is constantly learning innovative ways to improve patient care, through continuous education, seminars and conferences. At his leisure, he prays, reads, listens to music, watches soccer, football, tennis, basketball and golf.
